There are many details involved in event planning and hosting. Here are answers to some questions we frequently receive. We realize you'll have other questions, and look forward to partnering with you through the process. 

Where is The VeNue Event Space located? 

The VeNue Event Space is located at 22210 E US Hwy 136, Bethany, MO, 64424.  

Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?

Due to schedules, and availability, we kindly request that you schedule a tour with us. Tours are appointment only. 

How do I schedule a tour?

What is the building capacity? 

We can accommodate 350 guests seated indoors and 150 guests seated outdoors. 

What dates are available? 

See the calendar of events page on our website to preview upcoming availability. This is updated weekly on Mondays, and time stamped. Event schedules are ever-changing, and we encourage you to call us at (660) 373-9927 or email us at to discuss your preferred dates for reservations. 

How do I make a reservation? 

To reserve The VeNue Event Space, please contact us at 660-373-9927 to finalize event details on your VeNue Rental Agreement. Said agreement must be signed and returned with down payment of $500. This down payment will serve as a security/damage deposit. Both will hold your desired said date without another event for the same date. All dates are reserved on a first contract basis.  

What is the rental fee at The VeNue Event Space, and what does it include? 

A list of our rental packages, what they include, and a la carte options are available under pricing on our website. Your event specifics will be discussed and finalized per your rental agreement. 

My ceremony is elsewhere, is The VeNue Event Space discounted? 

Our pricing structure remains the same whether you hold your ceremony, reception, or both onsite.  

Payment - Is there a deposit? When are the additional payments due? Do you offer a payment plan? 

We accommondate all types of different events. Payment structures are per rental agreement. There is a $500 down payment for Security/Damage Deposit due to hold your event date(s) with signed rental agreement. The full rental fee is payable 60 days to the said reserved rental date(s).


Can I choose my own partners for the other services, or do you require us to work with yours? 

We have an open policy with partners. In addition, for your convenience, we have a list of growing preferred partners we love to work with to help you. 

Are there overnight accommodations nearby? 

Yes! We have two Villas at The VeNue, and four cabins at Hidden Acres available. Please visit the Villas page for more details, and ask us about the cabins based on your lodging needs. 

What types of events can you accommodate? 

We can customize our indoor and outdoor space to accommondate your event needs. Different types of events would include but not limited to rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremony, wedding reception, holiday party, fundraiser, birthday, graduation, retirement, business meeting, conference, expo, trade show, networking event,  live music, comedy show, workshop, auction, family reunion.... If you have an event idea, we are open to hearing about it! Give us a call to discuss.  

Parking - how many cars will your parking lot accommodate? 

We have plenty of parking available onsite. Guests staying at The Villas at The VeNue may park overnight, however, we ask that all vehicles from your event be picked up by noon the following day.  

How many tables and charis are available? 

We have round tables to seat 350 guests indoors. We have outdoor chairs available for 150 guests. 

Do you provide table linens? 

Yes, we offer black or white linens which are included in your rental package. You are welcome to bring your own linens, or table runners for your event(s). 

What happens when it rains during my event?

We are one of the few venues that has the space to set-up indoors and outdoors. In case of weather, and you have outdoors event plans, we ask that you have a backup plan due any weather that may occur. 

Do you have tents available for additional outdoor coverage? 

If you would like to use a tent for your event outdoors, please request for approval prior to your event said dates. With consent, this tent rental, set-up, and takedown is of your responsibly and within the rental agreement time period. 

Are pets allowed? 

We love our pets, too! However, we do ask that you leave your furry friends at home. We do not allow pets on our property for safety reasons.

Decorations - When can I decorate, what can I use to decorate, and where can I decorate? 

Yes, you can decorate for your event(s) during the period of time in which you have rented The VeNue. All decorations should be freestanding without the usage of nails and staples. All candles must be contained or enclosed in glass. No birdseed of any kind is allowed at The VeNue. You may use rice, confetti, flowers petals, balloons, fog machines, and blowing bubbles outside only. 

Music - Can I hae a DJ, live music, music playing at my event(s)?

We have an open policy with music at your event. This is between you and your music partner. We ask that you be kind, and respectful with the volume. 

What is your smoking policy? 

The VeNue Event Space is a non-smoking facility. This applies to all events indoors. Smoking is allowed outdoors only on the east side of the property. 

What is the event clean-up process, and policy? 

We ask that The VeNue be left in the same condition as you found it. All trash from your event(s) both inside, and outside are cleaned up, bagged up by the renter to be taken with you or placed in the dumpster outdoors on or before the end of your said rental agreement. 

Do you offer transportation?

Yes, we have transportation available for your usuage including a GMC Yukon for large group; see rental packages and a la carte pricing for additional information. We also offer other vehicle rentals when needed, and when available.
